Minimalist, contemporary and spiritual, they have a quiet contemplative presence, conceptually originating from areas of philosophical concern.
Taking a reductionist approach to my art, paring down the subject matter to its essence, has resulted in a clean uncluttered aesthetic.
The paintings exhibited on this site are all original contemporary abstract oil paintings - not prints.
Indeed there is no printing or spraying involved - just oil paint applied with subtlety of touch.
The supports are either hardboard or MDF surfaces, and due to the physical depth of the paintings, they require no external frame.
To get the best from these original abstract oil paintings there is no need to to get them framed - I attach them to the wall using mirror plates, and leave plenty of space between each painting.
Leaving space between your paintings (rather than having them in groups or too close to each other) especially these subtle abstract paintings, allows each work to breathe and reveal its content to the viewer.
